Luciana Benotti is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina and a researcher at the Argetinean Research Council (CONICET). She is also the elected chair of the North American Association in Computational Linguistics (NAACL) where she supports diversity and inclusion efforts. NAACL is formed by over 5K researchers in Natural Language Processing in North and Latin America. She works with Via Libre Foundation to investigate AI technology from a human rights perspective. She did her PhD at Université de Lorraine and INRIA in France. Her main research areas are dialogue systems, language grounded in vision and, more recently, ethics for natural language processing.
