Cecilia Aguerrebere got her PhD in Signal and Image processing from Télécom ParisTech, France, and in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de la República, Uruguay (joint PhD program) in 2014. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Duke University, US (2014 to 2016). Her research is focused on signal processing applied to different domains (image processing, computational imaging, biomedical imaging, neuroscience) and more recently data analysis for learning analytics. She currently holds a researcher position at Fundación Ceibal, working on educational data mining applications.
