Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Leo specializes in the area of Computer Vision (“AI for Images”). During her doctorate at USP Leo worked on the subtopics of Representation Learning and Content-Based Image Search, specializing in the use of Transformer-type architectures. She was a Postdoctoral researcher at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) where she began working with the Araceli project (in progress), working on the automatic recognition of sensitive content under low-data protocols and domain generalization.
