Martin Alcalá Rubí

Martín Alcalá Rubí, is a Uruguayan serial entrepreneur in the field of AI. Martin Co-founded Tryolabs, 10 years ago, as the first AI focused company in Uruguay. Nowadays Tryolabs employs more than 50 people and has served more than 150 clients in the US, and particularly in Silicon Valley. Martin was also part of Batch 14 of 500 Startups San Francisco in 2016, one of the most relevant startup accelerators in Silicon Valley. Martin is also deeply involved in the entrepreneurial community of the region, being an Angel Investor, and member of the board of directors of CUTI (Uruguayan IT Chamber). Between his main interests, Martin is passionate about the adoption of AI into different business verticals with a positive outcome, and the exploration and exploitation of emerging technologies, particularly Quantum Computing.
