Martino Banchio is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of Bocconi University, an Affiliate of IGIER (Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research), and a part-time Research Scientist at Google Research.
His work lies at the intersection of microeconomic theory, market and mechanism design, and computer science. His PhD thesis was recognized with an honorable mention at the 2023 ACM SIGecom Doctoral Dissertation Award.
